Background Hostile attributions of intent are linked to externalizing and internalizing problems in children adolescents. Maladaptive parenting practices believed contribute developing a hostile attributional style. However, there is limited empirical research on this topic. Similarly, narcissism often considers the impact parent-child experiences, but gap concerning behaviors facets development. Participants procedure To address these gaps, we conducted study with 268 teenagers (134 females) aged between 12 17 years. Psychosocial Determinants of the Need for Cognition in Individuals with High Academic Achievements DOI Open Access

The aim of the research was to verify what factors determine level need for cognition (NFC) in students and doctoral with high academic achievements. project involved 207 participants: 102 individuals achievements 105 without great scientific successes. following tools were used: Questionnaire Need Cognition (in Polish adaptation), Formal Characteristics Behavior – Temperament Revised Version, Popular Emotional Intelligence Retrospectively Perceived Parental Attitudes. Research results indicate that people achievement, emotional intelligence, activity perceived mother’s inconsistency positively influence cognition. In comparison group, intelligence is a positive predictor NFC attitude father’s negative NFC.
