Abstract Background: Preterm birth, defined as birth before 37 weeks of gestation, remains a leading cause neonatal morbidity and mortality worldwide. The causes preterm are multifactorial, with social determinants such stress, socioeconomic status, support playing critical roles. In Lebanon, country experiencing political, economic, crises, poses additional challenges. This study aimed to investigate the relationship between support, quality life outcomes in Lebanese cohort. Methods: prospective cohort was conducted three tertiary care centers Lebanon from September 2021 December 2023. A total 116 mother-infant pairs, including 78 full-term 38 infants, were recruited. Data on determinants, perceived stress (PSS-10), (MSPSS), (WHOQOL-BREF) collected at 4–6 months postpartum. Statistical analysis included t-tests, chi-square tests, linear mixed models explore associations birth. Results: Compared births, births significantly associated higher maternal levels evidenced by PSS-10 scores (19.53 vs. 15.29, p-value = 0.011) lower physical (39.16 vs 57.4, < 0.001), psychological (54.08 66.91, (58.53 69.56, 0.007) domains life. At postpartum, mothers infants continued report (55.92 65.58, 0.043) (62.52 69.84, 0.038). addition, all reported (71.8 67.3, 0.003), (69.4 vas 61.4, 0.005), environmental (70 64.5, 0.012) post-partum compared Stress significant mediator gestational age (p-value 0.035). Conclusion: highlights noticeable impact crisis-affected region. Mothers experienced suggesting need for targeted interventions mental health well-being.
