Abstract In recent years, IT governance has been a subject of discussion among academics and practitioners. The concern on the need to implement mechanisms ensure right balance these mechanisms. However, audit received very little attention. This paper aims analyse overall impact audits maturity coherence Guided by configurational theory, researchers argue that when operate coherently are regularly audited, there will be improvement in performance financial institutions. this study, seven services companies Ghana were reviewed, their was assessed after months auditing with COBIT 5‐driven framework.
