This study investigates the enhancement of recycled concrete aggregate (RCA) surfaces with nano-TiO2 for an improved degradation low-concentration sulfur dioxide (SO2). Nano-TiO2 particles, known their photocatalytic properties, were uniformly deposited on RCA surfaces. Upon exposure to SO2 under light irradiation, functionalized exhibited significantly efficiency. was attributed photo-induced oxidation by nano-TiO2. Enhanced further observed UV due increased photoactivation. The coating also showed good durability and stability, ensuring long-term effectiveness. experimental outcomes reveal that TiO2-treated aggregates exhibit 85% retained activity post five cycles reuse. Furthermore, investigation employs a second-order polynomial-based mathematical fitting function generate three-dimensional trend surface, visually illustrating inverse relationships between environmental variables, such as initial concentration flow rates.
