Aquaculture has become one of the most attractive food production activities as it provides high-quality protein for growing human population. However, abiotic chronic stress fish in intensive farming leads to a detrimental condition that affects their health and somatic growth, comprising productive performance. This work aims comprehensively review impact alternative novel dietary sources on metabolism, antioxidative capacity under environmental/abiotic stressors. The documental research indicates ingredients from rendered animal by-products, insects, bacteria single-cell proteins, fungal organisms (e.g., yeast, filamentous fungus, mushrooms) benefit A set responses allows health, survival remain unaffected by feeding with during environmental stress. Those stimulate enzymes such catalase, glutathione peroxidase, selenoproteins counteract ROS effects. In addition, humoral immune system promotes immunoglobulin (IgM) cortisol plasmatic reduction. Further investigation must be carried out establish specific effect species. Additionally, mixture pre-treatment hydrolysates, solid fermentations, metabolite extraction potentialize beneficial effects diets chronically stressed fish.

When studying stress in animals, it is important to understand the types of and their classification, how assess levels different animal species using matrices accurately precisely. The classification helps distinguish between good (eustress) bad (distress). Hence, first, crucial animal's level a non-intrusive manner second identify type that best suited its environment. Third, also analyze obtained samples suitable method increase validity hormone measurements. Therefore, this review, we aim to: (1) explain stress, (2) discuss wide range body (e.g., saliva, milk, hair, urine, feces, sweat, fins, etc.) can be used as evaluate levels, well comparisons limitations, present reliable for measuring hormones with special emphasis on (3) compare analytical methods after sample preparation. Despite some literature does not include hair matrix evaluating one long-term accumulations. This review discusses factors influence hair. By understanding these issues, scientific community will only able improve biomarker evaluation but suggest deal consequences future research.

The dairy industry is reshaping itself and becoming commercialized in Pakistan due to the increased demand for milk overcome shortage. Exotic breeds such as Holstein Friesian, a high producing breed have started being reared more on farms Pakistan. Along with other issues, mastitis does affects production of this breed. objective study was evaluate composition terms bacterial communities Friesian Punjab, alteration microbial healthy mastitic udder. Milk samples (n = 36) from rearing were collected. Among these samples, 05 each three groups, HHF(healthy), CHF (clinical mastitis) SHF (subclinical based their udder health condition processed using 16S r RNA gene base technique. Background/Objectives: Limosilactobacillus (Lm.) reuteri is a widely utilized probiotic, recognized for its significant role in alleviating symptoms associated with gastrointestinal and psychiatric disorders. However, the effectiveness of Lm. strain-specific, genetic diversity leads to differences phenotypes among different strains. This study aims identify potential probiotic strains by comparing strain-specific characteristics better understand their efficacy mechanisms stress-induced anxiety-like behaviors symptoms. Methods: We cultivated 11 from healthy human samples conducted phenotypic genomic characterizations. Two strains, WLR01 (=GOLDGUT-LR99) WLR06, were screened as probiotics tested behavior intestinal mouse models subjected sleep deprivation (SD) water avoidance stress (WAS). Results: The results showed that selected effectively improved behaviors, including cognitive impairment inflammatory response, well improving anxiety regulating gut microbiota composition. improvements regulation NLRP3 inflammasome pathway SD model mice visceral hypersensitivity integrity WAS mice. Conclusions: In summary, this identified strain having alleviate through analysis genotypes phenotypes, validation models, thereby laying foundation future clinical applications.

This study used hair cortisol concentration (HCC) and the Feline Behavioral Assessment Research Questionnaire as indicators of chronic stress status behavioral changes in cats, respectively. Few studies have simultaneously employed both indices to examine cats with kidney disease (CKD). aimed evaluate HCC questionnaire data from control group (n = 21) those CKD 21). Additionally, we investigated correlation between living environment. For this study, samples were collected cats’ abdomens analyzed for HCC. Owners completed questionnaires provide information on their behavior, demographics, environmental factors, household characteristics over 3 months. Cats late-stage had significantly higher levels than early-stage groups. We observed different associations patterns, environments, depending stage progression. The consistency findings results, including group, suggests possibility a complex interaction progression stress.

Chronic stress in the dairy cattle industry has negative impacts on animal health, productivity, and welfare. It been confirmed that cortisol transfers to milk resists high temperature during processing. This study evaluated relationship between concentration (MCC) commercial products temperature-humidity index (THI) at time of production. Eleven commercially produced pasteurized sterilized products, purchased Chuncheon, Korea, with production dates ranging from July October 2021 were analyzed. The MCC was extracted using diethyl ether analyzed an enzyme immunoassay. average THI values based microclimate data provided by Korea Meteorological Administration 77 ± 0.8, 75 1.4, 69 58 1.8, July, August, September, October, respectively. levels 211.9 95.1, 173.5 63.8, 109.6 53.2, 106.7 33.7 pg/mL higher than (p < 0.05), while it lower September August 0.05). Significant variations observed across four months except for two products. Overall, monitoring residue can be alternative indicator farms.
