The prediction that the world population will reach almost 10 billion people by 2050 means an increase in pork production is required. Efforts to meet increased demand have made pig one of most technologically advanced branches and which growing continuously. Precision Livestock Production (PLF) increasingly widespread model farming describes a management system based on continuous automatic monitoring control production, reproduction, animal health welfare real time, as well impact husbandry environment. Today, wide range technologies available, such 2D 3D cameras assess body weight, behavior activity, thermal imaging monitor temperatures determine estrus, microphones vocalizations, various measuring cells food intake, weight gain, many others. By combining applying available technologies, it possible obtain variety data allow livestock farmers automatically animals improve environmental sustainability. Nevertheless, PLF systems need further research create cheap affordable but accurate models ensure progress production.
