Introduction This study investigates the impact of institutional reputation (IR), social responsibility (SR) and student loyalty (LY) on retention (RT) in university students. Methods Using a quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional design, 409 students private universities, both domestic foreign, were surveyed. Results Analysis using Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) revealed that SR positively influences LY ( β = 0.218, p < 0.001) RT 0.123, 0.006). showed strong 0.765, 0.001), whereas IR significantly influenced 0.556, 0.001). Contrary to expectations, no direct relationship was found between retention. In addition, it shown had positive effect 0.531, Conclusion Based results obtained, is concluded predicts LY, IR, Ly with significant implications for management research at this educational level.
