This
chapter
explores
the
development
of
microlearning
pedagogical
practices
aimed
at
enhancing
student
learning
in
higher
education
through
a
design-based
research
(DBR)
approach.
Recognizing
microlearning's
potential
for
quick,
focused
learning,
study
addresses
lack
strong
foundations
and
practical
implementation
challenges.
The
progresses
four
phases:
analyzing
current
teaching
practices,
designing
key
principles,
developing
strategies,
evaluating
their
usability
via
expert
feedback.
Using
surveys
applied
cognitive
task
analysis
(ACTA),
introduces
AMPLIFY
framework,
which
enhances
with
eight
components:
clear
objectives,
personalized
continuous
feedback,
efficient
delivery,
engaging
content,
interactive
experiences,
social
collaboration,
seamless
curriculum
integration.

strategies

bridging
literature
gap
setting
stage
future
studies.

Mobile
microlearning
(MML)
provides
concise
and
engaging
educational
activities
that
correspond
with
various
learning
preferences
styles.
Microlearning
is
defined
as
bite-sized
instruction,
modules
ranging
from
approximately
90
seconds
to
5
minutes.
To
consider
MML
a
form
of
continuing
professional
development
it
essential
first
identify
the
new
generation
nurses
entering
field
health
care.
This
scoping
review
addresses
generational
using
current
technological
approaches
nurses'
interest
in
development.
A
total
34
articles
were
identified
for
this
review.
Little
information
was
available
on
nursing
addressing
both
formal
education
Among
studies
evaluated
