In the learning process, students still have difficulty in understanding material well. its implementation, teacher uses conventional teaching materials, less varied and not yet digital-based by actively involving students. The purpose of this study was to develop test effectiveness augmented reality-based flipbooks on main idea paragraphs Indonesian language content grade V elementary school. type research is Research & Development (R&D). subjects were teachers, 1 media expert, fifth-grade students, namely 6 initial trial 13 usage data collection methods used include observation, interviews, questionnaires, tests. Data analysis techniques qualitative analysis, quantitative normality test, N-Gain, inferential statistical (t-test). results are feasibility experts obtained a percentage 92% (very feasible), 91.25% student response trials 95.31%, 92.5% feasible). t-test (paired t-test) differences between before (pretest) after (posttest) using flipbooks. N-Gain 0.61 (medium). It concluded that flipbook very feasible effective use learning. This implies can facilitate students' materials so they improve cognitive abilities determining
