Unlocking Success: Key Factors for International Mobility Program in Implementing the Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka Curriculum

This
article
is
based
on
research
conducted
at
nationally
accredited
State
Islamic
Higher
Education
Institutions
(PTKIN)
in
Indonesia,
which
have
already
begun
implementing
the
Merdeka
Belajar-Kampus
(MBKM)
curriculum.
The
informants
serving
as
data
sources
consist
of
15
students
participating
International
Mobility
Program
(IMP).
A
qualitative
case
study
gathered
from
interviews,
observations,
and
documentation.
emphasizes
that
determinants
IMP
success
supporting
implementation
MBKM
curriculum
four
aspects:
1)
through
ability
to
adapt
well
a
new
environment,
gain
learning
experiences
outside
campus
by
adjusting
respecting
cultural
differences
destination
country;
2)
international
language
proficiency,
are
increasingly
trained
conduct
high-quality
communicate
effectively
creatively;
3)
their
interest
challenges
adventures
foreign
campuses,
confidently
present
forums;
4)
transformation
global
perspective,
motivated
pursue
further
studies
abroad
intend
participate
programs
following
years.
Understanding
emphasizing
these
factors
crucial
for
optimizing
benefits
derived
mobility
initiatives
within
unique
context
religious
higher
education
institutions.
