A large number of species in the genus Colletotrichum have been reported as causal agents anthracnose on crops and wild plants Korea. Many isolates from country preserved Korean Agricultural Culture Collection (KACC) were previously identified based host morphological characteristics, it may lead to misidentification. Thus, accurate fungal identification using multilocus sequence analyses is essential for understanding disease epidemiology management strategies. In this study, combined DNA internal transcribed spacer, gapdh, chs-1, his3, act, tub2, gs applied re-identify 27 KACC. The phylogenetic showed that resulted 11 known species, they belong C. dematium complex (C. hemerocallidis, jinshuiense, spinaciae), magnum kaifengense cf. ovatense), orchidearum cattleyicola, plurivorum, reniforme, sojae) orbiculare malvarum orbiculare). Of them, kaifengense, reniforme unrecorded view host-fungus combinations, 10 combinations are newly world 12 new reports Korea, although their pathogenicity was not confirmed.
