Tabletop role-playing games (TRPGs) for disaster response management are collaborative exercises in which participants take on the roles of characters and guided by a “game master.” TRPGs useful tools training, improving preparedness emergency responders, understanding/validating agent-based models (ABMs). This study evaluated knowledge assessed effectiveness utilizing validating NetLogo model. The central components ABM were transformed into Disaster Response Role-Playing Game (DRTRPG). Medical doctors master’s students divided two groups participated exercise based defined strategies. Multiple pre- post-assessment tests used to evaluate each group's knowledge, while performance scoring matrix was generate data from in-game activity. analyzed using Pandas MS Excel analytical tools. Pre- test results (n = 8) revealed 11.5% 3.1% increases healthcare decision-making, respectively, among medical students. A visual comparison between DRTRPG partial model validity. However, statistical showed clear variation outcomes. “alternate” policy strategy resulted better design implementation understanding communication ABMS with promising results. there significant differences methodologies, highlighting challenge predictive ability RPGs.

This study explores disaster preparedness in schools from the perspective of Special Education (SPED) teachers, highlighting challenges, best practices, and suggestions ensuring safety SPED learners before, during, after any form disasters province Davao del Sur, Philippines. To address these objectives, this employed a qualitative research design, specifically phenomenological approach uncovering experiences teachers handling with special needs times disaster. In addition, total nine teaching that offer program participated were chosen using purposive sampling technique. analyze data, researchers Collaizi method analysis to determine emerging themes. Findings highlight management limitations area emphasis following limitations: lack proper facilities equipment, emotional limitations, limitations. These can therefore hinder evacuation cope multifaceted addressing they experienced approaches include use learner-centered technique, systematic teacher involvement, regular training drills, proactive approach. However, further improve school inclusivity preparedness, participants suggested enhance information campaign support mechanism tailored for learners. By understanding incorporating it into planning mechanism, an inclusive learning environment wherein all students are safe secure.
