The Families Speak Project has been studying rural families with low incomes over twenty years, listening to the voices of sharing their stories as well resiliency policymakers community educators. Select findings this rich body work focused on four domains – food insecurity, economic security, health, family well-being are shared in chapter along implications recommendations outreach education. In particular, roles that Extension can play serving communities presented. This illustrates translational linkage between research highlighting importance integrating practice.
