In the present work, objective was to perform a systematic review of literature on main aspects related factors that influence development digital competencies in university teachers (DTC) Latin America, published last 5 years, corresponding 2020 2024. The carried out taking into account suggested methodological guidelines, using search strategies different databases. Scopus, Scielo, and Web Science. results obtained reveal existence DTC, these are sociodemographic institutional, with following variables: age group, gender, length service institutional policies, educational management, technological infrastructure training, respectively. It is concluded there play an important role it crucial know them for appropriate use aimed at promoting transformation teachers, thus improving pedagogical practices.
