Introduction: the training of professionals in field health not only implies acquisition theoretical and practical knowledge, but also development research competencies, which are essential for future to address clinical problems, implement evidence-based interventions contribute advancement profession. Objective: validate a scale evaluation competencies undergraduate physiotherapy students. Methods: an instrumental study was carried out by applying review final project subject methodology I II sample 104 Factor analysis data performed identify underlying structure Cronbach reliability coefficient calculated. Results: correlation tests showed moderate strong association between indicators results instrument's internal α=0.89, demonstrating consistency scale. Conclusions: continuous effective is fundamental step process capable autonomous professionals.
