Introduction: personal satisfaction is related to how people see their work, as well attitudes towards it. This entity depends on internal and external factors the worker. Nursing staff, due characteristics of profession, find themselves in many situations. sometimes subjected situations that cause dissatisfaction with work environment. study was conducted aim evaluating job nursing workers.Methods: a descriptive, observational, cross-sectional 73 nurses from Dr. Gustavo Dominguez Hospital, Ecuador. A survey applied using Google Forms form, consisting 23 questions structured into following factors: supervision exercised by superiors; physical environment; material benefits; intrinsic work; remuneration, basic benefits, interpersonal relationships.Results: males predominated (46.7%), 39.7% were “very dissatisfied” relationships supervisors, 42.5% “quite dissatisfied environment”, only 4.1% satisfied” salary career advancement opportunities, 28.8% rated dissatisfied”.Conclusions: The presence identified more than half staff surveyed, higher negative assessment environment satisfaction. above findings could be interpreted an indicator poor functioning management services institution
