Abstract Business sustainable development (BSD) refers to practices that meet current economic, environmental, and social needs without compromising the ability of future generations their own needs. In Ethiopia, prior studies overlooked this concept when studying entrepreneurial marketing (EMP) in small medium enterprises (SMEs). This study aimed investigate effect these on BSD. Employing a mixed‐methods approach, primary secondary data from 387 SMEs (selected via stratified simple random sampling 5765) are analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM). Results demonstrate significant, positive relationship between EMP such as innovativeness, opportunity focus, value creation, proactiveness, development. The underscores necessity for enhance ensure long‐term viability competitiveness. It highlights stakeholder engagement: policymakers, local communities, consumers critical aligning efforts with sustainability goals. engagement not only meets consumer expectations ethically driven businesses but also enhances inclusive growth community welfare. By promoting dialogue among stakeholders, drive initiatives advocate policies supporting environmentally socially responsible practices, contributing greener, conscious economy. Future research should explore mediating or moderating variables across different SME types regions. study's novelty lies its insights into how impact within offering valuable strategic decision‐making highlighting pivotal role (EM) achieving success dynamic markets.
