Abstract
Non-pharmaceutical
interventions
(NPIs)
were
implemented
to
cope
with
the
coronavirus
disease
2019
(COVID-19)
pandemic
in
South
Korea.
These
could
also
have
affected
other
infectious
diseases,
but
there
been
no
comprehensive
studies
regarding
their
impacts.
This
study
examined
trends
notifiable
diseases
both
humans
and
animals
during
COVID-19
pandemic.
Autoregressive
integrated
moving
average
(ARIMA)
models
developed
for
each
using
data
from
2016
2019,
incidences
2020
2021
predicted.
Subsequently,
predicted
numbers
of
cases
compared
actual
observations.
Our
findings
indicated
a
substantial
reduction
human
respiratory
implementation
NPIs.
However,
gastrointestinal
livestock
did
not
show
significant
decrease.
The
results
revealed
that
preventive
effect
sizes
NPIs
varied
among
potential
side
effects,
suggesting
complementary
are
needed
minimize
these
negative
effects.

qualitative
design
research
focus
group
discussion
involving
ten
undergraduate
students
sampling
this
study,
study
discussing
relevance
course
tertiary
education
prepare
graduates'
for
environment,
accommodate
industry
Malaysian
context.It
believed
that,
if
planned
accordingly,
could
bring
potential
assist
employable,
alongside
unleashing
English
intercultural
communication
both
themselves
