Abstract Non-pharmaceutical interventions (NPIs) were implemented to cope with the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic in South Korea. These could also have affected other infectious diseases, but there been no comprehensive studies regarding their impacts. This study examined trends notifiable diseases both humans and animals during COVID-19 pandemic. Autoregressive integrated moving average (ARIMA) models developed for each using data from 2016 2019, incidences 2020 2021 predicted. Subsequently, predicted numbers of cases compared actual observations. Our findings indicated a substantial reduction human respiratory implementation NPIs. However, gastrointestinal livestock did not show significant decrease. The results revealed that preventive effect sizes NPIs varied among potential side effects, suggesting complementary are needed minimize these negative effects.

COVID‐19 pandemic is considered a global crisis that adversely impacted the world economy. The virus possessed serious threat to different sectors including agricultural, livestock, poultry and fish in both developing developed countries. associated lockdown for long period have not only caused enormous distress millions of poor marginal farmers saving their crops and/or livestock but also affected production systems value chains, nutrition, health care labour availability. In addition, significantly fishery sector through disruption supply chains had noteworthy effects on income stakeholders, especially this regard, current review discussed impact sectors.
