This paper presents a hybrid multicriteria decision-making (MCDM) model that integrates the fuzzy DIBR II (Defining Interrelationships Between Ranked Criteria II) method with MABAC (Multi-Attributive Border Approximation Area Comparison). The proposed addresses problem of selecting an appropriate flood protection for Arilje, Republic Serbia. Flooding in this region results from overflow Veliki Rzav river, which lacks constructed water structures protection. study considers three alternative solutions: sand-filled bags, mobile freestanding plastic systems, and metal systems. was used to define weighting coefficients criteria within group framework. Next, applied rank alternatives. Finally, were validated through sensitivity analysis comparative analysis. validation confirmed developed produces stable reliable results.

Abstract Assessing the financial health of banks is crucial to ensure stability system. This not only a way safeguard interests customers and shareholders but also prevent inherent risks reliability in banking operations. Thus, evaluating plays role maintaining sustainable development sector. study employed three methods: RAM (Root Assessment Method), PSI (Preference Selection Index), SRP (Simple Ranking Process), assess twenty-eight Vietnam. Capital adequacy rating, asset quality management earnings liquidity sensitivity market risk rating are six criteria used characterize each bank. The evaluation results using these methods were compared with other CAMELS identified good those weak health. notable point that ranking RAM, PSI, SRP, according system quite similar. These findings vital providing valuable information for managers investors, aiding them making informed decisions regarding investment, management, strategies based on empirical data.

Purpose The purpose of this research is to address the challenges selecting optimal drones for disaster response operations under uncertainties. Traditional static (deterministic) models often fail capture complexities and uncertainties scenarios. This study aims develop a more resilient adaptable decision-making framework by integrating best-worst method (BWM) with stratified multi-criteria (SMCDM), focusing on various uncertainty scenarios such as weather conditions, communication navigation control issues. Design/methodology/approach methodology involves identifying seven essential criteria drone evaluation, guided contingency theory. BWM derives weights each criterion comparing best worst alternatives. SMCDM incorporates different into process. Sensitivity analysis assesses robustness decisions weightings operational integrated approach demonstrated through practical application Kerala flood scenario. Findings proves be highly effective in adapting scenarios, enabling decision-makers consistently identify response. method’s ability account uncertain conditions weather, issues ensures that selected based situation at hand. Research limitations/implications fills critical gaps literature offering comprehensive model selection. However, there are certain limitations. reliance expert opinions introduces subjectivity, potentially affecting generalizability results. In addition, study’s focus single case, floods, limits its applicability other geographic contexts. Integrating real-time data analytics process could also enhance model’s adaptability evolving improve relevance. Practical implications offers practical, By SMCDM, can uncertainties, or disruptions, make informed choices. leads better resource allocation efficient operations, ultimately enhancing speed effectiveness relief efforts adjust scenario-specific factors optimally deployed according unique demands disaster. Social incorporating proposed assists appropriately choosing their characteristics crucial specific thereby efficiency operations. Purpose The study aims to develop a robust, fuzzy, data-driven ERM model that incorporates the decision-makers’ varied levels of expertise and relative importance risk factors. Design/methodology/approach presents robust multi-criteria fuzzy integrates inputs from multiple decision-makers enhance prioritization in supply chain operations. It employs triangular numbers normalize decision-maker weights uses AHP determine criteria weights. Risks are evaluated using linguistic terms, such as FMEA, followed by weighted aggregation. Finally, defuzzification generates priority for ranking risks. Findings This approach enhances user-friendliness promotes greater acceptance, making particularly suitable implementation typical steel plant settings, which may be extendable general industry with modifications parameters on “case-to-case” basis. Research limitations/implications Due its advanced calculations multi-step processes, framework’s complexity deter adoption, especially organizations unfamiliar logic. Implementation demands specialized training or software support, posing challenges smaller enterprises. Customization specific industrial contexts requires substantial resources, adoption difficult resource-constrained organizations. Practical implications proposed framework delivers more nuanced management integrating imprecise information leveraging diverse expertise. contribution broadens knowledge, within context complex, multi-tiered risks, advancing beyond traditional linear perspectives literature. Originality/value is novel terms successful validation under environment combined FMEA.

With the development of agricultural production, demand for electricity correspondingly increases. To sustainably meet this demand, renewable energy sources (RESs) can be utilized. This paper explores application RES alternatives in agriculture to provide guidelines enhancing sustainable practices Bosnia and Herzegovina. The study employs expert decision making using fuzzy multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) methods. A model incorporating nine criteria six was developed. Using direct weight calculation (DiWeC) approach, findings indicate that economic are prioritized over other sustainability criteria. results from RAWEC (ranking with weights criteria) method reveal solar has greatest potential advancing production For practical implementation alternatives, active involvement state institutions local communities is essential.

Introduction/purpose: The paper presents the multi-criteria Fuzzy DIBR-Fuzzy DIBR II-EWAA-BM-DEXi-Fuzzy LMAW model for choosing a location crossing water obstacles by fording in defense operation. After identification of criteria experts this field, mentioned was applied and optimal point determined. In order to test consistency results validity model, were consulted again, sensitivity analysis comparative performed. Methods: II methods used determine weighting coefficients identified criteria, while aggregation expert opinions obtained values performed using EWAA BM operators. To select location, method applied, linguistic descriptors determined DEXi decision support system. Results: proposed methodology made it possible identify all that choice obstacle testing experts, output changes weights comparison with other indicated fact is valid gives consistent results. Conclusion: It concluded provides necessary help makers conditions imprecise unspecified information applicable real situations. Also, takes into consideration aspects must be considered when making such complex helps less experienced officers decision-making process, reducing possibility errors, which can result human casualties. Finally, directions further research field overcoming multicriteria are suggested.

This paper aimed identify and rank the barriers implementation of eco-regenerative chains. A novel integrated approach was proposed based stepwise weighted assessment ratio analysis (SWARA) multi-attributive border approximation area (MABAC) method using ZE-fuzzy numbers. address some limitations failure mode effects (FMEA) method, including lack thorough prioritization inability make decisions about importance various factors in an uncertain environment. By combining fuzzy sets considering reliability levels two distinct groups decision-makers experts, this offers comprehensive evaluation framework. Following determination risk priority number (RPN) by FMEA were evaluated ZE-SWARA, ranked ZE-MABAC critical propose corrective actions.
