Heavy
metal
toxicity
in
water

problem

health

ecosystem.

[Pb(II)]

Abstract
Polysaccharides
are
a
class
of
natural
biopolymers
that
have
attracted
significant
attention
due
to
their
unique
properties,
which
make
them
attractive
for
use
in
wide
range
applications.
These

daily
life,
and
designing
biomaterials
biomedical
applications
requires
careful
consideration

such
as
biocompatibility,
biodegradability,
renewability,
affordability,
availability,

achieved

polysaccharides.
This
review
paper
focuses
on
the
polysaccharides
provides
in‐depth
analysis

hemicellulose,

drug

The
incidence
of
water
pollution
in
developing
countries
is
high
due
to
the
lack
regulatory
policies
and
laws
that
protect
bodies
from
anthropogenic
activities

wastewater.
Industrial
wastewater
contains
significant
amounts

detrimental
human
health,
aquatic
organisms,
ecosystem.

methods
wastewater,
with

emphasis
on
technologies,
advantages,
disadvantages,
innovation.

coagulation/flocculation,

promising
results
but

limitations,

relatively
low
removal
rates,
inefficiency

concentrations,

Recent
technologies
like
nanotechnology,
photocatalysis,
electrochemical
coagulation
have
advantages
over

removing
metals,
including

energy

greater
selectivity

Therefore,
we
recommend
future

waste
generation.
