This study sought to investigate the impact of PIE strategy on seventh-grade students' ability write descriptive texts at SMP Negeri 1 Pematangsiantar during 2024/2025 academic year. The research involved 62 participants and employed a quantitative quasi-experimental methodology. Data collection was conducted through written tests, analysis procedure included statistical hypothesis testing. calculating mean score, median standard deviation determine t-test value, which then compared t-table assess significance in teaching text writing skills. findings revealed that test using 5% level (0.05) yielded value 3.571, surpassing 1.677.
