Introduction Current evidence suggests that early maladaptive schemas are affected in attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Most of the studies on subject have been conducted with adults, but number adolescents ADHD is quite limited. The aim this study was to evaluate diagnosed ADHD. Methods included 66 patients and 70 healthy who were similar case group terms age gender. Clinical evaluation control groups performed "The Schedule for Affective Disorders Schizophrenia School-Age Children-Present Lifetime Version, DSM-5 November 2016-Turkish Adaptation (K-SADS-PL-DSM-5-T)". "Conners-Wells Adolescent Self-Report Scale - Revised Short Form (CASS-RS)" "Set Early Maladaptive Schema Questionnaires Children Adolescents between ages 10-16" administered all participants. Results It determined schema scores "dependence/incompetence", "vulnerability harm or illness", "entitlement/grandiosity", "insufficient self-control", "subjugation" significantly higher than group. A negative, significant relationship found "enmeshment/undeveloped self", "entitlement/grandiosity" self-control" scores. There no difference gender Additionally, education level parents, family income levels positive CASS-RS As a result regression analysis, it positively predicted scores, while variable negatively only self". Discussion showed there differences compared schemas, symptom associated schemas.

Aim: The main objective of this study was to measure the impact early maladaptive schemas (EMSs) in parenting practices, family functioning and psychological adjustment adolescents with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). also explored gender differences on variables based age group. Methods: A cross-sectional research design, including a sample 100 (Male=50, Female=50) selected from different special education institutions, schools colleges government private sector Islamabad Rawalpindi. ranged 12 20 years (M=14.73, SD=1.82). data collected using Alabama Parenting Questionnaire, Family Assessment Device, Young's Schema Personality Questionnaire. Data analysis performed Pearson Product Moment, t-test, One-Way ANOVA, Hayes process macro for mediation analysis. Results: simple confirmed significant partial mediation. indirect effect healthy found be significant. direct positive dimensions practices negative were have adjustment. EMSs significantly partially mediated relationship between adjustment. Conclusion: According results, it concluded that influence ADHD. In addition, play role Gender subscale inconsistent discipline emotional instability Similarly, these six subscales deprivation, inhibition, defectiveness/shame, social vulnerability harm, self-sacrifice EMSs. Recommendations: results suggest broader treatment strategies, considering parents finding can incorporated interactive session children, members develop understanding nature problem, related complexities within families sorting strategies Furthermore, educational set up may help training workshops teachers improve needs
