Abstract This research work analyses how information technology improves business efficiency, creates employment, and fosters economic development. paper investigates the level of integrated systems used by small medium enterprises in Albania. The philosophy employed this based on case study method, researcher interaction has been applied as a technique for data collection. Through careful observation investigation practical real cases, complete picture actual factors events are obtained. A self-selection sampling was used. technique, cooperation with managers enabled to recommend possible concrete improvements or subsystems they apply. Results indicate that while adoption is growing, significant barriers such financial constraints lack technical skills persist. empirical showed firms involved different aspects sales, accounting, quality control, but were not integrated. “smart” use hampered their efficiency make them less competitive. By leveraging systems, SMEs can overcome challenges posed limited resources achieve sustainable growth.
