Purpose: This study aimed to develop a skills-based achievement test for the learning outcomes of subject "Sound and Its Properties" in newly implemented science curriculum. Design: research used survey design as skill-based development study. The developed per purpose was applied 375 6th-grade students, results were analyzed using TestAn package program. Findings: An consisting 27 multiple-choice descriptive questions within scope this by examining PISA (Program International Student Assessment), TIMSS (Trends Mathematics Science Study), various tests, resources, previous studies order new It determined that 23 28 items total had an item discrimination index 0.40 above; 4 between 0.30-0.39. One item, Question 27, 0.20-0.29 removed from test. analysis showed difficulty values ranging 0.28 0.72. reliability coefficient 0.80.
