This research is backdroped by the role of Kiais (religious figures) whose opinions regarding permissibility child marriage are widely followed their local community. It aims to investigate relevance law in Regency Brebes from perspective maqāṣid al-usrah. was conducted Banjarharjo, Pararaja, Banjaran, and districts employing legal anthropology Ushul al-Fiqh approaches. The theories used this internalization theory Data were collected through interviews, observations, document analysis. practice society is, principle, irrelevant concept al-usrah, which theoretically explained Jamal al-Din 'Aṭiyyah. found that religious understanding internalized community traditions resulted a fiqh product entitled Kitāb al-Nikah authored an Indonesian ulama authority Lebe' has had significant influence on Regency. should not only be based authoritative texts but also requires consideration 'āqil bāligh as well suitability, namely rushd (capability) considering regulating relationship between men women (tanẓīm al-'alaqah bayn al-jinsayn), realization peace, love, compassion (taḥqīq al-sakn wa al-mawaddah al-raḥmah), maintaining religion family (hifz al-tadayyun fi al-usrah), essential aspects al-jānib al-mu'assasī li Family Financial Regulation al-māl al-usrah).
