This review aimed to elucidate the mechanisms through which (i) physical activity (PA) enhances neuroplasticity and cognitive function in neurodegenerative disorders, (ii) identify specific PA interventions for improving rehabilitation programs. We conducted a literature search PubMed, Medline, Scopus, Web of Science, PsycINFO, covering publications from January 1990 August 2024. The strategy employed key terms related neuroplasticity, exercise, function, personalized activity. Inclusion criteria included original research on relationship between while exclusion eliminated studies focusing solely pharmacological interventions. identified multiple pathways may enhance including releasing neurotrophic factors, modulation neuroinflammation, reduction oxidative stress, enhancement synaptic connectivity neurogenesis. Aerobic exercise was found increase hippocampal volume by 1–2% improve executive scores 5–10% older adults. Resistance training enhanced control memory performance 12–18% elderly individuals. Mind–body exercises, such as yoga tai-chi, improved gray matter density memory-related brain regions 3–5% emotional regulation 15–20%. Dual-task attention processing speed 8–14% individuals with disorders. also discuss potential role AI-based AI preventing rehabilitating illnesses, highlighting innovative approaches patient outcomes. significantly disorders various mechanisms. resistance training, mind–body practices, dual-task exercises each offer unique benefits. Implementing these activities clinical settings can Future should focus creating tailored conditions, incorporating programs optimize rehabilitation.

BACKGROUND Inadequate sleep is prevalent among athletes, affecting adaption to training and performance. While education on factors influencing can improve behaviors, Large Language Models (LLMs) may offer a scalable approach provide athletes. OBJECTIVE This study aims i) investigate the quality of recommendations generated by publicly available LLMs, as evaluated experienced raters, ii) determine whether varies with information input granularity. METHODS Two prompts differing granularity (low high) were created for two use cases inserted into ChatGPT-4o (GPT-4o) Google Gemini, resulting in n=8 different recommendations. Experienced raters (n=13) 1-5 Likert-scale, based n=10 criteria derived from recent literature. RESULTS The highest summary rating was achieved GPT-4o using high granularity, ratings >3 (tendency towards good), n=3 equal 3 (neutral), n=2 <3 bad). significantly outperformed Gemini 9 out 10 (P<.001 P=.045). Recommendations received higher than those low across both LLMs (P<0.001 P=.049). CONCLUSIONS Both exhibit limitations, neglecting vital education. Sleep suboptimal, achieving overall quality. However, demonstrated improved recommendation emphasizing need specificity thorough review outputs securely implement AI technologies

Background/Objectives: With the rise of artificial intelligence (AI) in nutrition and healthcare, AI-driven chatbots are increasingly recognised as potential tools for generating personalised diet plans. This study aimed to evaluate capabilities three popular chatbots-Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT 4.0-in designing weight-loss plans across varying caloric levels genders. Methods: comparative assessed quality meal generated by a calorie range 1400-1800 kcal, using identical prompts tailored male female profiles. The Diet Quality Index-International (DQI-I) was used dimensions variety, adequacy, moderation, balance. Caloric accuracy analysed calculating percentage deviations from requested targets categorising discrepancies into defined ranges. Results: All achieved high total DQI-I scores (DQI-I > 70), demonstrating satisfactory overall quality. However, balance sub-scores related macronutrient fatty acid distributions were consistently lowest, showing critical limitation AI algorithms. 4.0 exhibited highest precision adherence, while Gemini showed greater variability, with over 50% its deviating target more than 20%. Conclusions: show significant promise nutritionally adequate diverse Nevertheless, gaps achieving optimal emphasise need algorithmic refinement. While these have revolutionise offering precise inclusive dietary solutions, they should enhance rather replace expertise dietetic professionals.

Abstract Mental health disorders have a global prevalence of 25%, according to the WHO, and this is exacerbated by factors such as stigma, geographical location, worldwide shortage practitioners. chatbots been developed address these barriers, but systems lack key features emotion recognition, personalisation, multilingual support, ethical appropriateness. This paper introduces an innovative mental support system that integrates BERT‐based emotional distress detection with psychological first aid (PFA)‐generative pre‐trained transformer (PFA‐GPT) model, providing emotion‐aware PFA chatbot. The methodology leverages deep learning models, utilising bidirectional encoder representations from transformers (BERT) for fine‐tuning GPT‐3.5 on therapy transcripts chatbot development. findings demonstrate BERT's superior accuracy (93%) compared long short‐term memory. using PFA‐GPT model demonstrated BERT scores (exceeding 83%) proficiently provided PFA. A proof concept has illustrate integration novel generative conversational agent integrated approach holds significant potential in overcoming existing barriers transform offering timely accessible care through AI‐powered interventions.
