Demands on planetary resources have skyrocketed consistently over the past two centuries, indicating ecological excess and pointing to their finite nature. This scenario represents a great challenge since updated literature shows that, as trend, there is lack of political will phenomena such social denial. As result, it was necessary achieve critical examination regarding actions that support climate change awareness from sustainable approach. Introduction: this article examines Information Technology (IT) management by governments in Latin America, focusing on how these initiatives are transforming public services, closing digital divides and strengthening cybersecurity data protection.
