This survey research aimed to study the VHVs’ core competencies, in particular by analyzing Competency Standards developed 2007 Thailand. The used multistage probability random sampling. A total of 500 samples were collected from four regions country through administering a questionnaire. IOC was 0.70 –1, CVI 1, and Cronbach’s alpha coefficient 0.98. Exploratory factor analysis deployed with principal component Promax method for extraction rotation. sampling adequacy verified appropriate values (KMO = 0.96 MSA each item ranging 0.94 - 0.98 Bartlett’s Test Sphericity (p < 0.001)). results demonstrated that there are seven competencies VHVs as follows: 1) Empowering children youth engage community healthcare development, 2) Health promotion, 3) Disease prevention, 4) Basic medical care, 5) Policy implementation, 6) Fostering self-care awareness, 7) risk monitoring precaution. All explained 70.02% variance. could serve guidelines developing deliver high-quality services community.
