Background and Objectives: Sport practice, performance satisfaction, interoception influence physical mental health. Motor imagery (MI) training improves sensorimotor cognitive–emotional functions. This study aimed to (a) compare sedentary artistic gymnastics-practicing young females (b) evaluate the changes in satisfaction occurring participants after one month of motor training. Materials Methods: The difference interoceptive accuracy (IA) sensibility (IS) between (Control group, C, n = 27) age-matched practicing gymnastics (Experimental E, were studied using Interoceptive Accuracy Scale (IAS), Multisensory Assessment Awareness (MAIA), Body Perception Questionnaire (BPQ). capacity for focusing one’s attention on specific tasks (absorption) was assessed by Tellegen Absorption (TAS). Groups compared at T0 (before training). In group same variables with rated before 1 years practice absorption used as covariates analyses. Results: Group E exhibited significantly higher scores MAIA dimensions than C similar BPQ IAS scores; E’s performance, MAIA, IAS, increased from T1. increase became non-significant when control. improvement TAS Conclusions: Despite limitations a result absence an objective evaluation physiological correlations accuracy, baseline differences two groups confirm that interoception. experience undergone better is associated further intermingled pathways shared relay stations information. results are relevant setting up personalized improve
