With the advent of an aging population society, morbidity and mortality rates stroke are on rise. Most surviving patients often accompanied by a series sequelae, which seriously affect patients' social function physical mental health. The application non-invasive brain stimulation (NIBS) in neurorehabilitation has attracted widespread attention. This study aims to explore key theme future direction research this field. Articles reviews related NIBS for from January 1985 September 2024 were identified Web Science Core Collection database. CiteSpace, VOSviewer software, Charticulator website used visualize analyze publications, countries, institutions, authors, journals, keywords, cited references, subject categories, funding agencies various angles. A total 4,453 papers included study, with United States publishing most, followed China. most outstanding author was Fregni F Harvard Medical School. Frontiers Neurology had highest number publications. Plasticity excitability represent two particularly major themes, connectivity is keyword frontier recent years. shows considerable potential broad development space rehabilitation. analyses hotspots emerging trends field, thereby providing framework deeper contributing vigorous stroke.
