The
utilization
of
high-quality
water
in
agriculture
is
increasingly
constrained
by
climate
change,
affecting
availability,
quality,
and
distribution
due
to
altered
precipitation
patterns,
increased
evaporation,
extreme
weather
events,
rising
salinity
levels.
Salinity
significantly
challenges
salt-sensitive
vegetables
like
lettuce,
particularly
a
greenhouse.
Hydroponics
quality
ensures
nutrient
solution
stability,
enhances
uptake,
prevents
contamination,
regulates
pH
electrical
conductivity,
maintains
system
components.
This
study
aimed
mitigate
salt-induced
damage
lettuce
grown
via
the
floating
culture
method
under
50
mM
NaCl
applying
biostimulants.

Protective effects of resveratrol and naringenin against nonylphenol-induced oxidative stress in rats

Abstract
Nonylphenol
(NP)
is
a
ubiquitous
environmental
endocrine
disrupting
chemical
and
oxidative
stress
inducer
in
biological
systems.
Resveratrol
(RES)
Naringenin
(NG)
are
phytochemicals
possessing
antioxidant
properties
estrogenic
activity.
This
study
was
conducted
to
investigate
the
toxicity
of
NP
mitigating
effects
RES
NG
on
rats.
Thirty
male
rats
were
classified
into
5
groups
as
follows:
1-
Normal
control
(NC),
2-
Dimethyl
sulfoxide
(DMSO)
group,
3-
4-
+
5-
NG.
Results
revealed
that
treatment
significantly
decreased
activities
superoxide
dismutase,
Catalase,
Glutathione
peroxidase
content
blood,
liver
kidney
compared
NC
DMSO
groups.
Conversely,
activity
Glutathione-s-transferase
elevated
blood
kidney.
Moreover,
significant
escalation
observed
levels
Malondialdehyde.
Also,
led
decrease
serum
total
testosterone
testis
weight,
accompanied
with
concurrent
elevation
estradiol
level
All
recorded
induced
by
effectively
countered
co-treatment
or
In
addition,
molecular
docking
studies
carried
out
reveal
interactions
between
NP,
RES,
estrogen
receptor
beta
which
provide
possible
mechanism
for
their
potential
Overall,
our
gives
deeper
understanding
toxic
effect
capacity
functions
well
therapeutic
utility
alleviating
these
adverse
effects.

Melatonin
is
considered
an
effective
bio-stimulant
that
crucial
in
managing
several
abiotic
stresses
including
drought.

its
potential
mechanisms
against
drought
stress
fragrant
roses
are
not
well
understood.
Here,
we
aim

role
of
melatonin
on
Rosa
centifolia
plants
cultivated
under

This
experiment
was
conducted
to
study

inoculation

arbuscular
mycorrhizal
fungi
(AMF)
as
an
ecofriendly
strategy
on
physiological,
biochemical

results
showed

decrease
in
chlorophyll

drought
conditions
