This experiment was conducted to study the effect of inoculation with arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) as an ecofriendly strategy on physiological, biochemical and yield characters wheat plants. Our results showed a significant decrease in chlorophyll b well maximum quantum efficiency PSII (Fv/Fm) plants under drought conditions compared control two seasons. Drought stress significantly reduced relative water content (RWC%) stressed control. Additionally, 1000 grain weight (g) biological (t h− 1) were stress. Furthermore, hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), Superoxide (O2−), electrolyte leakage (EL%), lipid peroxidation (MDA) total phenolic compounds increased conditions. However, treated AMF displayed increase concentrations RWC% when untreated findings also indicated that application led regulate antioxidant enzymes activity, proline (EL%) levels Eventually, approach can improve growth by mitigating adverse effects These provide evidence for important role agricultural production maximizing yield.

The utilization of high-quality water in agriculture is increasingly constrained by climate change, affecting availability, quality, and distribution due to altered precipitation patterns, increased evaporation, extreme weather events, rising salinity levels. Salinity significantly challenges salt-sensitive vegetables like lettuce, particularly a greenhouse. Hydroponics quality ensures nutrient solution stability, enhances uptake, prevents contamination, regulates pH electrical conductivity, maintains system components. This study aimed mitigate salt-induced damage lettuce grown via the floating culture method under 50 mM NaCl applying biostimulants.

Abstract Nonylphenol (NP) is a ubiquitous environmental endocrine disrupting chemical and oxidative stress inducer in biological systems. Resveratrol (RES) Naringenin (NG) are phytochemicals possessing antioxidant properties estrogenic activity. This study was conducted to investigate the toxicity of NP mitigating effects RES NG on rats. Thirty male rats were classified into 5 groups as follows: 1- Normal control (NC), 2- Dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) group, 3- 4- + 5- NG. Results revealed that treatment significantly decreased activities superoxide dismutase, Catalase, Glutathione peroxidase content blood, liver kidney compared NC DMSO groups. Conversely, activity Glutathione-s-transferase elevated blood kidney. Moreover, significant escalation observed levels Malondialdehyde. Also, led decrease serum total testosterone testis weight, accompanied with concurrent elevation estradiol level All recorded induced by effectively countered co-treatment or In addition, molecular docking studies carried out reveal interactions between NP, RES, estrogen receptor beta which provide possible mechanism for their potential Overall, our gives deeper understanding toxic effect capacity functions well therapeutic utility alleviating these adverse effects.

Melatonin is considered an effective bio-stimulant that crucial in managing several abiotic stresses including drought. However, its potential mechanisms against drought stress fragrant roses are not well understood. Here, we aim to investigate the role of melatonin on Rosa centifolia plants cultivated under (40 % field capacity) and normal irrigation (80 capacity). Plant growth traits, gaseous exchange, antioxidants, osmolytes, oxidative stress, leaf anatomical attributes were measured. All pots arranged with a completely randomized design two-factor factorial setup. Foliar application was carried out next day treatment repeated weekly, while watering regarded as control. Drought significantly enhanced markers reduced parameters water-deficit rose plants. spray (100 μM) produced increased plant height (16 %), flower yield petal fresh dry biomass (7 38 total chlorophyll (48 contents carotenoid (54 exchange traits such stomatal conductance (25 photosynthetic rate (91 transpiration (3 water-deficient Likewise, accretion catalase, superoxide dismutase, soluble protein, proline, glycine betaine recorded by 22 %, 45 58 7 6 respectively, drought-stressed plants, due treatment. Increment indicators i.e. malondialdehyde (-37 %) hydrogen peroxide (-27 diminished triggered stress. Furthermore, cortex (51 vascular bundle area (76 palisade cell (59 lamina thickness (42 remarkably foliar sprays The results this study recommend protective agent has prospects rose-producing regions suffering from water deficiency. Future studies should focus molecular responses R. further develop alleviation strategies floricultural crops.
