Insect-based (silkworm cocoons) and plant-based (cotton wool pads gauzes) fiber substrates were used to support ameliorate seed germination originating from trifoliate orange (Poncirus trifoliata) pomegranate (Punica granatum) trees. Three different commercial formulations of beneficial microorganisms (Bacillus spp.-Azotobacter spp., Saccharomyces boulardii, cerevisiae) administered seeds in order evaluate their contribution growth. The silkworm cocoons provided better rates for P. trifoliata (83.33%) among the tested media without any microbial supplementation. These increased towards absolute maximum (100%) when Bacillus S. boulardii cerevisiae applied. Furthermore, inoculums spp. 2 mL 3 g raised ability by 30–33.33% 50–67.7%, respectively, on cocoon compared plant-derived, cellulosic under same biotic exposure. On increasing size applied inoculums, moved optimum suboptimum all media. Examination multipartite pH compatibility (between seeds, microorganisms, media) was functional value. In conclusion, both tree species can be using bacterial yeast supplementation, including medical-grade environmentally friendly materials such as insect- substrates.

Bacillus species are recognized as plant growth-promoting bacteria (PGPB), yet the mechanisms behind their crop growth promotion remain elusive. This study is designed to explore (PGP) effects of megaterium GXU087 on soybeans and uncover underlying mechanism. In vitro , exhibited various PGP traits, including phosphate solubilization, nitrogen fixation, production exopolysaccharide, biofilm formation. Pot experiments indicated that significantly enhanced soybean growth, leading a remarkable increase in fresh weight ( p < 0.05). Additionally, nodulation parameters were improved. Specifically, 10% concentration extracellular extracts from exerted significant nodulation, with both nodule number increasing UPLC-MS analysis verified secreted indole-3-lactic acid (ILA) at 232.7 ng/mL. assays further demonstrated this ILA effectively promoted within range 0.1-10 mg/L. However, exogenous application did not stimulate rhizobia reproduction, suggesting bacterial does promote by enhancing growth. Notably, first report B. secreting promoter soybeans. Our findings offer new insights into mechanism action contribute understanding microbe-induced crops.

Plant-associated microbes play a crucial role in host growth, health, and stress resistance. Host plants significantly influence the assembly of their microbial communities. To examine plant provenance on bacterial composition growth promoting (PGP) properties, we compared readily culturable bacteria isolated from root interior rhizosphere Tripterygium wilfordii Hook f., woody Chinese medicinal plant, across three provenances grown different regions. Regardless growing environment, abundance endophytic colonies followed trend: Fujian > Hunan Hubei provenances. A total 227 isolates were classified into 21 genera 40 rhizosphere, with Pseudomonas and/or Bacillus as dominant genera. The taxonomic varied environments. Plants same but cultivated locations exhibited greater similarity composition. majority assayed strains displayed one or more PGP traits. Local harbored higher proportion than non-local plants. Our findings indicate that influences root-associated bacteria, particularly native environments may recruit to enhance fitness.

Current agricultural practices face numerous challenges, including declining soil fertility and heavy reliance on chemical inputs. Rhizosphere microbial metabolites have emerged as promising agents for enhancing crop health yield in a sustainable manner. These metabolites, phytohormones, antibiotics, volatile organic compounds, play critical roles promoting plant growth, boosting resistance to pathogens, improving resilience environmental stresses. This review comprehensively outlines the mechanisms through which rhizosphere influence health, traits, functional components, yield. It also discusses potential applications of secondary biofertilizers highlights challenges associated with their production practical use. Measures overcome these are proposed, alongside an exploration future development fertilizer industry. The findings presented here provide scientific basis utilizing enhance sustainability, offering new strategies management. Integrating could lead increased productivity, improved quality, reduced dependence synthetic inputs, thereby supporting more environmentally friendly resilient system.
