Alopecia Areata is a common form of non-scarring hair loss. The utility Trichoscopy lies in diagnosis and monitoring therapeutic response challenging cases. Objectives: To compare the change frequency trichoscopic features before after treatment with intralesional steroids. Methods: This descriptive longitudinal study was carried out Department Dermatology, Sahiwal Teaching Hospital, Sahiwal. Patients between age 18 to 60 either sex, having Severity Tool (SALT Score) less than 50 were enrolled. Intralesional triamcinolone acetate (5mg/ml lignocaine) infiltrated at dose 0.1 ml /cm2 into dermis. Trichoscopic recorded using Heine Delta 30 digital Dermatoscope baseline 12 weeks. Results: Mean 28.19 ± 8.54. There statistically significant decrease mean SALT Score (9.91 6.77) (4.94 4.04) treatment. black dots, exclamation mark hairs yellow dots 91%, 81% 23%. After these frequencies reduced significantly 8%, 7%, 9% respectively (p-value<0.001). While proportion short vellus circle (63%,12%) increased 99% 70% Conclusions: It concluded that clinical improvement steroids can be demonstrated disappearance appearance regrowing on Trichoscopy. Thus, highlighting as valuable tool for Areata.
