This study aims to examine the impact of digital platforms on business model innovation within MSME sector in Indonesia, addressing contextual limitations found previous study. Utilizing a comprehensive design, this investigates roles platform adoption, evolutionary capability reconfiguration, and substitutional reconfiguration driving innovation. The methods included hypothesis testing through partial least square structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) data collected from MSMEs Sleman, Yogyakarta. results reveal that while adoption alone does not directly enhance innovation, it significantly influences reconfiguration.
