The exploration of excellent microwave absorbers has been a great challenge for researchers. However, the single component electromagnetic waves (EMWs) absorbing materials difficult to meet requirements today's complex environment. Therefore, this work proposes MXene-NiCo2S4 (M-NCS) heterostructures with magnetic-dielectric double losses achieve efficient absorption EMWs. 3D M-NCS were constructed successfully through simple hydrothermal and electrostatic self-assembly processes. attachment magnetic NiCo2S4 (NCS) particles on surface MXene sheets introduces numerous heterointerfaces, forms cavities that allow EMWs scattering reflection, achieves multiple dielectric-magnetic Thus, optimized hybrids exhibit minimum reflection loss (RLmin) −62.62 dB an effective bandwidth (EAB) 3.15 GHz (11.87–15.03 GHz) at thickness only 1.43 mm, which could also entire X-band Ku-band coverage within 1.07–2.05 mm thickness. It was apparent can be promising candidate application in satellite skins protection.
