Abstract Injectable hydrogel possesses great application potential in disease treatment and tissue engineering, but damage to gel often occurs due the squeezing pressure from injection devices mechanical forces limb movement, leads rapid degradation of matrix leakage load material. The self‐healing injectable hydrogels can overcome these drawbacks via automatically repairing structural defects restoring function. polysaccharide constructed through Schiff base reaction own advantages including simple fabrication, injectability, under physiological conditions, therefore have drawn extensive attention investigation recently. In this short review, preparation properties that is established on are focused their biological applications drug delivery cell therapy discussed.

Immunotherapy that harnesses the human immune system to fight cancer has received widespread attention and become a mainstream strategy for treatment. Cancer immunotherapy not only eliminates primary tumors but also treats metastasis recurrence, representing major advantage over traditional treatments. Recently with development of nanotechnology, there exists much work applying nanomaterials on basis their excellent physiochemical properties, such as efficient tissue-specific delivery function, huge specific surface area, controllable chemistry. Consequently, nanotechnology holds significant potential in improving efficacy immunotherapy. Nanotechnology-based mainly manifests its inhibitory effect via two different approaches: one is produce an effective anti-tumor response during tumorigenesis, other enhance tumor defense ability by modulating suppression mechanism microenvironment. Abstract Immunotherapy that can activate immunity or enhance the immunogenicity of tumors has emerged as one most effective methods for cancer therapy. Nevertheless, single‐mode immunotherapy is still confronted with several critical challenges, such low immune response, tumor infiltration, and complex immunosuppression microenvironment. Recently, combination other therapeutic modalities a powerful strategy to augment outcome in fighting against cancer. In this review, recent research advances chemotherapy, phototherapy, radiotherapy, sonodynamic therapy, metabolic microwave thermotherapy are summarized. Critical challenges future direction immunotherapy‐based also discussed.
