Amongst various scaffolding techniques, electrospinning one most widely used techniques synthesise a nanofibrous scaffold. Electrospinning as potential technique has attracted great deal interest been discussed in many studies. The high surface-to-volume ratio nanofibres, coupled their ability fabricate scaffolds may mimic extracellular matrices, facilitates cell migration, proliferation, adhesion, differentiation. These are all very desirable properties TE applications. However, despite its widespread use distinct advantages, electrospun suffer from two major practical limitations: poor penetration load-bearing Furthermore, have low mechanical strength. Several solutions offered by research groups overcome these limitations. This review provides overview nanofibres In addition, we describe current on nanofibre fabrication characterisation, including main limitations some possible

Bi2 O3 /rare earth oxide biphasic absorbers are attractive for high-efficiency X-ray shielding due to the complementary absorption effects. However, its application is severely hindered by poor interphasic contact. Here, a new Janus interface engineering strategy reported construction of continuous and flexible /Gd2 crystal nanofibrous membranes (FJNMs) with micro/nano dual self-strengthening adhesion. This facilitates online micro-interlocking between nanofibers in situ nano-grain fusion crystals, significantly enhancing adhesive strength at interface. Additionally, synergistic effect from multiple reflections Gd2 lattices make superior radiation barrier. The FJNMs demonstrate integrated features exceptional efficiency (91%-100%), robust interfacial adhesion (lap-shear >3.8 MPa), prominent flexibility, lightweight, outstanding breathability. design concepts fibrosing absorber assemblies pave way asymmetrically assembling materials, setting stage fundamental shift next-generation materials.

ABSTRACT Background Microfocused ultrasound with visualization (MFU‐V) is widely used in aesthetic medicine for skin tightening and rejuvenation. However, its role regenerative aesthetics precise mechanism of action are not fully understood. Objective This narrative review aims to contextualize articulate the MFU‐V, evaluate aesthetics, assess effectiveness based on existing clinical, histological, skin‐mechanical studies. Methods A comprehensive literature search was performed collect analyze studies MFU's biological mechanisms, clinical outcomes, impact extracellular matrix (ECM) regeneration. The integrates findings from trials, histological analyses, biomechanical assessments provide a cohesive understanding MFU‐V's medicine. Results MFU‐V emits focused energy that penetrates multiple layers superficial musculoaponeurotic system, creating localized thermal coagulation points. These points initiate responses recruit fibroblasts stimulate production new collagen elastin fibers. Enhanced ECM protein synthesis leads significant improvements biomechanics quality, reducing laxity enhancing appearance. Clinical support these findings, showing firmness texture following treatment. Conclusion Through analyzing underlying mechanisms observable this sets stage aesthetics.

Abstract The growing demand for energy‐efficient carbon capture has spurred significant advancements in supported ionic liquid membranes (SILMs), which utilize (IL) with high CO 2 solubility continuous gas purification processes. However, conventional SILMs are hindered by a persistent limitation: thick IL layers (> 50 µm) significantly reduce permeance to below 1 GPU, while also causing mechanical failure under prolonged operational pressure. Inspired the interlocking elytra of Tenebrionidae beetles, use microscale “teeth” withstand stress, locked (LILMs) engineered composeing two interpenetrating polyamide nanofilms biomimetic protrusions. These confine ILs within cavities formed protrusions, thinning sub‐0.5 µm resisting shear stresses. LILMs demonstrate /N selectivity 55 and an enhanced 8.2 surpassing performance ≈20‐fold maintaining stability over 168 h mixed separation. By dual‐purposing as both solvents interfacial polymerization transporters, this bio‐inspired architecture overcomes thickness‐stability limitations, enabling capture.

Taking inspiration from diverse interlocking and adhesion structures found in nature, a biaxially interface is developed this work. This formed by interconnecting two electrostatically flocked substrates its mechanical strength enhanced through the incorporation of enoki‐mushroom‐shaped microfibers deposited extracellular matrix (ECM). Tips straight fibers can be transformed into mushroom shapes thermal treatment. The tensile interlocked scaffolds with mushroom‐shaped tips drastically increases when compared to made fibers, which not reported previously. More cells proliferate within than fibers. Additionally, (e.g., compressive, tensile, shear) cell‐seeded proportionally amount ECM dermal fibroblasts. study holds promise for applications engineering interfacial tissues, modeling tissue interfaces, investigating tissue–tissue interactions, facilitating bridging or binding.
