An ideal green leaf-deposited pesticide formulation should offer advantages such as good water dispersibility, strong foliar affinity, sustained or controlled release of active ingredients, photostability and rain-fastness, minimal nontarget toxicity, use nontoxic organic solvents, degradable adjuvants. In line with this objective, we present preparation a colloidal using optimized lysine-derived carbon dots (LysCDs)-modified CaCO3 (LysCDs/CaCO3) particles the carrier abamectin (Abm) ingredient. The loading capacity in (LysCDs/CaCO3/Abm) is 1.7 to 2.1 times higher than that its counterpart (CaCO3/Abm) prepared without LysCDs, which attributed increased specific surface area pore volume LysCDs/CaCO3 particles. Due acid-induced degradation CaCO3, for LysCDs/CaCO3/Abm accelerated under weakly acidic conditions, accompanied by Ca2+ ions fluorescence changes LysCDs. incorporation LysCDs enhances adhesiveness pesticide, resulting highest degree retention when exposed ultraviolet (UV) light rainfall, compared free-form CaCO3/Abm. This results best performance pest control on Plutella xylostella both indoor outdoor tests. Nontarget biocompatibility evaluations show exhibits lower acute toxicity zebrafish earthworms abamectin. addition, favored residue adjuvant material after release, converted into harmless ions, CO2, Therefore, work designs safer more effective deliver residue, realizing trajectory basically "circular green".

Abstract The inefficient delivery of herbicides causes unpleasant side effects on the ecological environment. Protoporphyrinogen oxidase (PPO)‐inhibiting rely presence external light to exert activities and thus their performance in field is extremely susceptible Here, taking acifluorfen (ACI) as a model PPO‐inhibiting herbicide enhance efficacy by boosting utilization rate sunlight, amphiphilic cationic CDs (CPC‐CDs) from cetylpyridinium chloride (CPC) precursor, first prepared supplementary source generator, subsequently co‐assembled with ACI through non‐covalent bond interactions obtain stable fluorescent nanoparticles (ACI@CPC‐CDs). ACI@CPC‐CDs fascinating physicochemical properties can penetrate leaves weeds stomata undergo long‐distance transport cell intervals. Under low intensity, CPC‐CDs be applied internal promote formation more singlet oxygen damage leaf membrane, consequently improving herbicidal activity ACI. Moreover, safety evaluation demonstrates no risk non‐target organisms Therefore, this work offers promising strategy for efficient light‐dependent opens new insights into application development sustainable agriculture.

Biopesticides have emerged as a global trend to minimize the risks associated with synthetic agrochemicals. However, their stability and efficacies remain challenges for widespread application. Herein, co-assembled nanoparticles (AT NPs or AP NPs) based on azadirachtin (AZA) tannic acid (TA) phenylalanine (PA) are constructed in aqueous solution through self-assembly technology. The small particle size, low PDI, high ζ-potential, related other physicochemical characteristics of can improve wettability, adhesiveness, rain erosion resistance, photostability compared commercial AZA formulation. Importantly, co-assemblies bidirectional pH-responsive disassembly acidic alkaline solutions, allow them respond microenvironmental stimuli targets enable controlled release AZA. nanosystems demonstrated remarkable vitro vivo insecticidal activities against Ostrinia furnacalis Aphis gossypii. This study illustrates distinctive perspective developing eco-friendly nanosystems, highlighting water-based treatment method biopesticides improved properties utilization efficiency. delivery limits Here, is plant secondary metabolites efficient drug delivery, demonstrating pest management, activation defensive capacity, while increasing production yield crops.
