: This study outlines the development of a novel approach utilizing microwave assistance for alcohol dehydrogenative reaction. The process is catalyzed by manganese (II) and cobalt in conjunction with chroman-4-one amino ligands. research introduces unique catalytic system capable synthesizing various heterocyclic compounds, including pyrroles, pyridines, Betti bases, chromenes, coumarins via dehydrogenation. synthesis involved preparation characterization series chroman- 4-one ligands (C1-C6) using standard analytical techniques. These ligands, combination MnCl2‧4H2O CoCl2, demonstrated remarkable activity, effectively driving cycle was initiated in-situ formation metal complexes during Characterization ESI-MS confirmed presence (Int-1) other intermediates (Int-II Int-III) throughout cycle. Abstract Direct and selective C(sp 2 )−H/C(sp )−H cross‐dehydrogenative coupling has become a promising strategy to increase molecular complexity with high atom economy. This study describes an efficient straightforward protocol for the regioselective C 3 ‐H/C ‐H cross‐coupling of 4‐hydroxycoumarin derivatives quinoxalin‐2(1 H )‐ones, including late‐stage modification natural drugs, promoted by visible light under aerobic conditions at room temperature. With this approach, wide range hybrid drug‐like molecules were prepared, using air as terminal oxidant. Remarkably, 4 ‐OH group coumarin ring is essential reaction been used handle diverse functionalizations final products. Moreover, sunlight can promote very mild sustainable conditions, even on gram scale. Qualitative semi‐quantitative tools demonstrate greenness advance methodology over previously reported ones. Several experiments conducted propose plausible mechanism transformation.

Abstract Constant mutations of SARS‐CoV‐2 from 2019 to the present commences potential dilemma efficacy developed COVID‐19 antiviral drugs. In this current report, series 3‐phenyl(alkylamino)methyl‐4‐hydroxycoumarin was identified as compounds drug‐likeliness that, through molecular docking simulations, also demonstrated favourable binding different sites RBD/hACE2 complex. This achieved by varying chain alkyl length and substituent phenyl moiety. The subjected were successfully synthesized a catalyst‐free multicomponent condensation reaction 4‐hydroxycoumarin, p‐substituted benzaldehyde, linear amines in dichloromethane (DCM) at 22 °C. crude products moderate (40–50 %) very good (80–90 yield with excellent purity without need for chemical purification verified nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy. simple method produce preliminary results an opportunity advancement drug discovery.
