Abstract Though platinum (Pt)‐based complexes have been recently exploited as immunogenic cell death (ICD) inducers for activating immunotherapy, the effective activation of sufficient immune responses with minimal side effects in deep‐seated tumors remains a formidable challenge. Herein, we propose first example near‐infrared (NIR) light‐activated and lysosomal targeted Pt(II) metallacycle ( 1 ) supramolecular ICD inducer. synergistically potentiates immunomodulatory response via multiple‐regulated approaches, involving NIR light excitation, boosted reactive oxygen species (ROS) generation, good selectivity between normal tumor cells, enhanced penetration/retention capabilities. Specifically, has excellent depth‐activated ROS production (~7 mm), accompanied by strong anti‐diffusion anti‐ROS quenching ability. In vitro experiments demonstrate that exhibits significant cellular uptake generation cells well respective multicellular spheroids. Based on these advantages, induces more efficient an ultralow dose (i.e., 5 μM) compared clinical inducer‐oxaliplatin (300 μM). vivo , vaccination further serves potent inducer through eliciting CD8 + /CD4 T Foxp3 depletion negligible adverse effects. This study pioneers promising avenue safe metal‐based agents immunotherapy.

The combination of advanced photoluminescence characteristics to photochromism is highly attractive in preparing high-performance multifunctional photo-responsive materials for optoelectronic applications. However, this rather challenging material design owing the limited mechanism understanding and construction principles. Here, an effective strategy integrate afterglow emission carbon dots (CDs) proposed through embedding naphthaleneimide (NI) structure CDs followed by polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) encapsulation. NI-structured CDs-PVP shows intrinsic situ formation NI-radical anions controllable multi-stimuli-responsive behaviors related oxygen-trigged triplet exciton quenching Förster resonance energy transfer (FRET) from pristine photoactivated radicals. Notably, a wide range appearance colors colorless brown, luminescence color transition blue yellow, much elongated lifetime up 253 ms are observed. With extraordinary stimuli-chromic stimuli-luminescent film dynamically responsive multiple external stimuli, reversible secure snapchat, data encryption/decryption synaptic imaging recognition realized. Abstract Harnessing nanoscale molecular structural changes to achieve precise control over macroscopic devices represents an emerging and effective strategy. One promising approach involves the introduction of light‐driven chiral dopants into liquid crystals (LCs), enabling fine‐tuned modulation helical superstructures in cholesteric (CLCs) via photoisomerization. This strategy opens up exciting possibilities for development innovative photo‐responsive with dynamic functionalities. review focuses on most common used LCs, including azobenzene, diarylethene, α ‐cyanostilbene overcrowded alkene. The chemical design principles these four types switches are highlighted, along their abilities induce pitch inversion CLCs. Finally, applications controlling showcased, particularly display technologies, anti‐counterfeiting, optical 3D droplet manipulation. Ethylenediamine (EDA), as an important chemical raw material and fine intermediate, has been widely applied in various industries. Real-time monitoring of EDA is highly desirable daily life due to its potential threat human health. Herein, we report a molecular probe named 4,4'-(9H-carbazole-3,6-diyl)bis(1-(naphthalen-2-ylmethyl)pyridin-1-ium) iodide (p-N-DPC·I2) with ratiometric luminescent colorimetric dual-mode responses toward EDA, endowing sensitive selective detection method for real-time monitoring. The experimental theoretical calculation results revealed that the response mechanism was forming charge transfer (CT) state when p-N-DPC·I2 met EDA. In addition, hydrogel-based sensing chip developed achieve ultrasensitive recognition vapor naked eye at concentration low 10 ppm. This study new fluorescent modes detect both solution vapor.

Abstract Organic room temperature phosphorescence (ORTP) polymer materials have sparked considerable research interests in recent years, but their optical function is still limited for multi‐mode imaging. Herein, a feasible and universal approach proposed to endow ORTP with periodic refractive index modulation functions by holographic patterning. The key this design two‐stage stepwise crosslinking. The effect of host–guest interactions on the chemistry encapsulated molecules is a fascinating field research that has gained momentum in recent years. Much work this been focused such catalysis and photoluminescence dyes. However, related photoinduced processes, as photoregulated oxidase-mimicking activity, not explored much.
