A novel polysaccharide, Inonotus obliquus polysaccharide (IOP), was extracted using a microwave extraction method and subsequently subjected to modifications through sulfation, carboxymethylation, phosphorylation, acetylation. Its physical chemical properties were analyzed various techniques, including high-pressure liquid chromatography, ultraviolet light, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, Congo red test, scanning electron microscopy. The antioxidant capacity assessed DPPH, ABTS, hydroxyl radical assays, as well by measuring the reducing power. Additionally, hypoglycemic activity evaluated α-glucosidase α-amylase assays. results indicated that effectively altered properties, biological activities of IOP. Compared unmodified IOP, derivatives exhibited reduced sugar content, uronic acid molecular weight, while demonstrating varying levels capabilities. Notably, carboxymethylated IOP (IOP-C) displayed lower higher ABTS free scavenging rate, greater ability, increased inhibition rate. Therefore, IOP-C shows promise potential edible agent.

In this study, Shatian pomelo peel was used as the raw material for extracting polysaccharides using hot water extraction (HW) and ultrasonic-assisted enzyme (UVE) methods, respectively. The optimal parameters extractingShatian (StPP) ultrasound-assisted enzymatic method were determined response surface methodology (RSM). conditions of StPP follows: ultrasound power 350 W, time 50 min, digestion compound addition 1.5%, temperature 55 °C. yield found to be 30.1310% under these conditions. Comparing physicochemical properties antioxidant activity extracted different it observed that resulted in higher yield, sugar content glucuronic acid compared traditional extraction. Additionally, by showed better activity. These results suggest is an effective enhance natural polysaccharides.

Antitumor, antioxidant, hypoglycemic, and immunomodulatory properties are all exhibited by maize polysaccharides. With the increasing sophistication of polysaccharide extraction methods, enzymatic method is no longer limited to a single enzyme extract polysaccharides, more often used in combination with ultrasound or microwave, different enzymes. Ultrasound has good cell wall-breaking effect, making it easier dislodge lignin hemicellulose from cellulose surface husk. The "water alcohol precipitation" simplest but most resource- time-consuming process. However, "ultrasound-assisted extraction" "microwave-assisted methods not only compensate for shortcoming, also increase rate. The crude Solanum tuberdsm polysaccharides (STP) were extracted with hot water. In the process of extraction, proteins, pigments, small molecules and salts in mixture removed by Sevage reagent, diatomite distilled water dialysis, respectively. addition, conditions protein removal response surface methodology (RSM) optimized, optimum method established as follows: ultrasound power 350 W, time 20 min, deproteinization twice, volume ratio polysaccharide solution to reagent 1:1 (mL/mL). Under these conditions, rate was 93.14%.

The natural products have a new chemical structure and biological active diversity, so they are favored by scientific researchers. Gout is high incidence high-risk disease, the current treatments not satisfactory. Xanthine oxidase (XO) key enzyme responsible for development progression of various metabolic oxidative stress-related diseases. Excessive activity XO leads to elevated serum urate levels, which in turn hyperuricemia. This review mainly introduces recent progress research on anti-gout that could provide treatment methods gout information discovery drugs.

Grapefruit peel polysaccharide has antioxidant, antitumor, hypoglycemic and other biological activities, chemical modification can further improve the properties of polysaccharide. Acetylation polysaccharides advantages simple operation, low cost little pollution, is widely used at present. Different degrees acetylation have different effects on polysaccharides, so it necessary to optimize preparation technology acetylated grapefruit polysaccharides. In this article, was prepared by acetic anhydride method. With degree acetyl substitution as evaluation index, combined with analysis sugar content protein in before after modification, three feeding ratios 1:0.6, 1 : 1.2 1.8 (polysaccharide: anhydride, mass/volume) were explored through single factor experiments. The results showed that optimum ratio material liquid for 1:0.6. Under these conditions, 0.323, 59.50 % 1.038 %. provide some reference study
