Combating bacterial infections has become a formidable challenge in healthcare due to the rise of antibiotic resistance. Recently, short peptide-based nanobiomaterials, assembled through silver metal and peptide building blocks, have emerged as promising agents for treating resistant infections. In this minireview, recent advances silver-peptide nanocomposites are highlighted, both with without assistance UV or sunlight, antibacterial applications. The chemical design biomolecules such amphiphilic peptides, amino acids, oligopeptides plays crucial role reduction, stabilization, biocompatibility nanocomposites. Abstract Biomolecules with metals can form supramolecular nanomaterials through coordination assembly, opening new avenues for cancer theranostics and bringing unique insights into personalized nanomedicine. These biomaterials have been considered versatile innovative nanoagents due to their structure‒function control, biological nature, simple preparation methods. This review article summarized the recent developments in multicomponent formed from metal interactions amino acids, peptides, proteins, together anticancer drugs, theranostics. We discussed role of functional groups anchored building blocks interactions, subsequently, types were examined a perspective. Amino acids different drugs forming mechanisms highlighted. Several bacterial strains have developed resistance against commercial antibiotics, and interestingly, supramolecular nanomaterials shown considerable advantages for antibacterial applications. However, the main challenges in adopting nanotechnology studies are random aggregation, compromised toxicity, multi-step preparation approaches, unclear structure-function properties. Herein, we designed amphiphilic tripeptide that acts as a reducing capping agent silver metal to form silver-peptide colloidal nanohybrids with mild assistance of UV light (254 nm) through photochemical reduction method. The characterized by different spectroscopic microscopic techniques, non-covalent molecular interactions between peptide building blocks confirm their central role formation nanohybrids. is biocompatible can reduce toxicity ions (Ag+) Ag0. ABSTRACT Metal‐organic frameworks (MOFs) are a new class of organic‐inorganic hybrid materials that have been widely studied in the past two decades for their potential catalysis.
