METHODS We analyzed data from National Health Aging Trends Study (NHATS) collected 2011 2022, including a discovery sample 5,989 validation 3,443. Digital was measured by use mobile phones, computers, email, internet, while were identified based difficulties initiating or maintaining medication. Multivariable logistic regression Cox proportional hazards models employed for analyses, respectively. RESULTS Cross-sectional analyses revealed higher prevalence those with high (discovery: 67.03% vs. 59.06%, OR = 1.23, P < 0.001; validation: 70.10% 61.38%, 1.22, 0.033). In associated an increased (HR 1.21, 0.006) pooled samples 1.17, 0.005), but not statistically significant after adjustment 1.11, 0.298). CONCLUSIONS is significantly adults, particularly findings provide partial support this association. The non-significant result observed reflect heterogeneity, suggests that mental mediate relationship. Future interventions should address help mitigate negative sleep.
