Introduction: To compare the efficacy of two different silicone hydrogel bandage contact lenses (BCLs) in terms visual rehabilitation and ocular discomfort following photorefractive keratectomy (PRK).Methods: This prospective study included 60 eyes 30 patients who underwent bilateral PRK surgery to correct myopia and/or astigmatism refractive errors. Following surgery, Lotrafilcon A were applied right eye Senofilcon material left eye. On postoperative day 5, when BCLs removed, subjective symptoms evaluated on a scale 0 10, where indicated no 10 maximum discomfort. The spherical equivalents (SE) both compared 15th 1st month. Postoperative SE ≤ ±0.50 diopters accepted as emmetropia. number achieved emmetropia was also month postoperatively.Results: scores did not differ significantly between 5-day time period (p>0.05). Abstract Transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) has the advantages of less trauma and faster postoperative recovery, which brought possibility to elderly patient with valvular heart disease is gradually replacing surgical (SAVR). There is a wide range of biomedical applications for titanium and its alloys due to their biological inertness, excellent biocompatibility, superior corrosion resistance, little no adverse reactions. However, the commonly used (Ti-6Al-4 V) have been reported high elastic modulus (116 GPa) compared human bone (10–40 GPa), resulting in atrophy caused by stress shielding, phenomenon degradation an insufficient supply from implant. The presence aluminum vanadium has also linked neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer's. A new class (Ti-35 Nb-7Zr-5Ta (wt%) referred as TNZT alloys) with low toxic alloying elements (niobium, tantalum, zirconium) capable combating problems associated Ti-6Al-4 V are being developed. Four kinds of silicone hydrogel transparent contact lenses (CLs) with different formulations were prepared by the free radical photocuring polymerization.
