The usage of antibiotics has been, and remains, a topic utmost importance; on the one hand, for animal breeders, other food safety. Although many countries have established strict rules using in husbandry industry, their misuse irregularities compliance with withdrawal periods are still identified. In addition to animal-origin foods that may cause antibiotic residue problems, more non-animal-origin this type non-compliance context, we aim summarize available information regarding presence residues products, obtained various parts world, as well impact consumption consumer health. We also present methods analysis currently used determine food, characterized by speed obtaining results or possibility identifying very small amounts residues.

The pervasive use of antibiotics in agriculture and animal husbandry has raised a significant concern—residual antibiotic contamination food, which contributes to the natural evolution resistance pathogenic microbial strains. emergence communities poses global threat food safety security. Recently, situation been exacerbated by discovery novel strains resistant bacteria (ARB) plant- animal-derived foods. These microbes can enter human body through direct contact with affected animals or consumption contaminated In this review, we explore prevalence contaminants at various locations around world, delve into molecular mechanisms behind acquisition antimicrobial resistance, examine current strategies employed mitigate spread pathogens, discuss emerging technologies aimed halting trend that projects 10 million annual deaths 2050 as result ARB agriculture. Genetic processes, including mutations, efflux pump activity, horizontal gene transfer, play crucial roles widespread distribution community. Effectively addressing requires development methodologies rapidly detect supply chain. Therefore, several established rapid diagnostic techniques such Quick, Easy, Cheap, Effective, Rugged, Safe (QuEChERS) methodology, aptasensors, fluorescence-based Metal Organic Frameworks. Antimicrobial resistance (AMR), frequently considered a major global public health threat, requires comprehensive understanding of its emergence, mechanisms, advances, and implications. AMR’s epidemiological landscape is characterized by widespread prevalence constantly evolving patterns, with multidrug-resistant organisms (MDROs) creating new challenges every day. The most common mechanisms underlying AMR (i.e., genetic mutations, horizontal gene transfer, selective pressure) contribute to the emergence dissemination resistant strains. Therefore, mitigation strategies (e.g., antibiotic stewardship programs—ASPs—and infection prevention control strategies—IPCs) emphasize importance responsible antimicrobial use surveillance. A One Health approach interconnectedness human, animal, environmental health) highlights necessity for interdisciplinary collaboration holistic in combating AMR. Advancements novel therapeutics alternative agents vaccines) offer promising avenues addressing challenges. Policy interventions at international national levels also promote ASPs aiming regulate use. Throughout scientific literature, we can find evidence that antimicrobial resistance has become a big problem in the recent years on global scale. Public healthcare systems all over world are faced with great challenge this respect. Obviously, there many bacteria cause infections humans and animals alike, but somehow it seems greatest threat nowadays comes from Enterobacteriaceae members, especially Escherichia coli. Namely, witnesses to fact these developed fight off antibiotics strongest most diverse Enterobacteriaceae. Our advantage is understanding antibiotics, so help us understand connection between microorganisms occurrence of antibiotic-resistance both their pets. Furthermore, unfavorable conditions related ease E. coli transmission via fecal–oral route among humans, environmental sources, only add problem. For above stated reasons, evident epidemiology strains mechanisms they have time extremely significant topics findings area will be vital importance against caused by bacteria.
