Heat stress (HS) is still the essential environmental agent influencing poultry industry. Research on HS in has progressively acquired growing interest because of increased attention to climate alteration. Poultry can survive at certain zone temperatures, so it could be considered homoeothermic. In poultry, normal body temperature enhance internal environment for growth, which achieved by temperature. Recently, many studies have revealed that cause mitochondrial dysfunction broilers inducing redox dysfunction, increasing uncoupling protein, boosting lipid and protein oxidation, oxidative stress. Moreover, diminished energy suppliers supported mitochondria activity. A novel strategy combating negative influences via function through enrichment diets with enhancers was also described this review. Finally, current review highlights induced attempts boost functionality enriching broiler diets.

Metabolic disorders present in women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and the associated risk of obesity may result increased oxidative stress reproductive failure. Therefore, we evaluated concentrations reduced glutathione (GSH), oxidized (GSSG), peroxidase (GPx), reductase (GR), as well nuclear factor erythroid 2-related 2 (Nrf2) Kelch-like ECH-associating protein1 (Keap1) serum 56 PCOS divided according to visceral subcutaneous fat surface ratio (VAT/SAT) waist-to-hip (WHR) values. Antioxidant parameter levels were measured by competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. As VAT/SAT WHR increased, observed significantly higher GSSG Keap1 protein a lower value GSSG/GSH (R-index), which is considered an index cellular redox (p < 0.05). Negative correlations found between R-index body weight, BMI, WHR, ratio, total fat; positive links free mass water. Opposite associations noted level aforementioned composition parameters. Oxidative characterized depleted reduced-to-oxidized anthropometric parameters PCOS. In particular, abdominal expressed and/or seems have negative impact on status, lead disruption many biological cell processes. The association suggests that elevated changes dependent Nrf2 activation promote antioxidant expression. Although GSH/GSSG appear be good indicators studies larger group patients should continue confirm these among

The plethora of bio-functional compounds present in fermented alcoholic beverages like wine, as well the valorisation bioactives from wineries’/breweries’ by-products grape pomace and seed, has gained significant interest functional foods sector. This beverage, always accompanied humanity, for religion or health, especially Mediterranean, while benefits its moderate consumption were documented even by Greek physician Hippocrates Kos (460–370 BC). After a big gap, an outbreak research on wine surfaced only since 1990s, when term “French paradox” was introduced to US public during CBS show, recent evidence outlined that beneficial effects are derived synergisms their digestion-derived metabolites. Within this article, proposed health consumption, component balanced diet (i.e., Mediterranean diet) against inflammation-related chronic disorders, is thoroughly reviewed. various both wineries’ by-products, such bioactive phenolics, unsaturated fatty acids, polar lipids dietary fibres, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory antithrombotic health-promoting properties, also evaluated. mechanisms action synergism, which elicited, explored. Functional properties non-alcoholic products introduced. Emphasis given applications bioactives, ingredients foods, supplements nutraceuticals. Limitations future perspectives popular beverage (wine) rich addressed.
