The widespread destruction and the devastating humanitarian toll caused by ongoing war on Gaza have transformed this besieged Strip into a place of death despair. This review will explore implications for food security, focusing Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 2, which seeks to fight malnutrition insecurity achieve zero hunger 2030. work is based grey literature, such as reports from government non-governmental agencies, well recent scientific journal publications. Restless bombardment ground operations damaged or even razed agricultural land all production infrastructure (such bakeries, mills, processing facilities), destroying Gaza’s system. Facing catastrophic levels hunger, some families, especially northern recently resorting eating animal feed weeds survive. With starvation civilians being used method warfare, many experts human rights organizations argue now world’s worst crisis its population verge famine, if not there. Moreover, unprecedented could significant consequences global security six pillars, jeopardizing implementation SDG 2. While international are making efforts mitigate shortage more comprehensive sustainable solutions needed address root causes ensure residents access an adequate nutritious diet.

Sustainable agriculture plays a crucial role in achieving the United Nations Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030. This chapter analyzes linkages between sustainable practices and specific SDGs, examining potential of eco-friendly farming techniques to address socio-economic environmental issues. It provides an overview prominent goals directly influenced like zero hunger, climate action, responsible production consumption. Additionally, it highlights innovative case studies that demonstrate how principles regeneration agroecology can drive progress on interlinked SDGs spanning poverty alleviation, clean water access, gender equality, reduced inequalities. By synthesizing research conservation agriculture, integrated systems, organic this offers actionable recommendations for agricultural stakeholders align with 2030 agenda development. emphasizes need evidence-based, context-specific approaches balance productivity, resilience, protection across local global scales.

Abstract Digital technologies have the potential to support achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Existing scientific literature lacks a comprehensive analysis of triple link: “digital – different industry sectors SDGs”. By systematically analyzing extant literature, 1098 sustainable business practices been collected from 578 papers, using 11 digital in 17 industries achieve SDGs. For instance, find that artificial intelligence can be used affordable and clean energy (SDG 7), responsible consumption production 12) as well address climate change 13). Further, geospatial may applied agricultural reduce hunger various domains 2), foster good health well‐being 3), improve availability water sanitation facilities 6), raise awareness on 12), safeguard life land 15), among other insights.

Abstract This study marks one of the pioneering efforts to compile comprehensive information on Ramsar sites globally. It delves into significance wetlands and designation across various countries, incorporating a concise exploration utilization Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) for wetland monitoring assessment. Additionally, conducts comparative evaluation sites, analyzing their percentage area overall coverage worldwide. Incorporating Scientometric analysis utilizing Scopus database, features co‐occurrence map, thematic evolution trend, country collaboration map. Emphasizing interconnection between Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG6 (Clean Water & Sanitation), SDG12 (Responsible Consumption Production), SDG13 (Climate‐Action), SDG14 (Life Below Water) SDG15 Land), associated targets indicators. Targets such as 6.1, 6.2, 6.3, 6.4, 6.5, 6a, 6b SDG‐6, 12.1, 12.2, 12.4 SDG‐12, 13.2, 13.3 SDG‐13 align with management conservation. Abstract Despite the importance of digital transformation in improving sustainable innovation performance, mechanisms and boundary conditions through which affects performance is unclear. Using lens information technology‐enabled organizational capabilities, this study develops a moderated mediation model based on new economic growth theory asymmetry to examine impact performance. sample Chinese agriculture firms, our findings reveal that positively technology‐business alignment, indirect effect stronger when environmental uncertainty lower. Moreover, negatively moderates relationship between alignment. Our theoretical explanations empirical evidence provide insights into how initiatives can be leveraged improve thus making an important contribution related literature.
