Cross-sector partnerships (CSPs) can play a prominent role in tackling wicked sustainability problems. In particular, cities are critical venues for testing the potential of CSPs as agents systemic change. However, effectiveness orchestrating resources to drive change urban contexts is still not fully understood. We fill this gap through longitudinal study an action research case CSP offering food assistance. Abstract The European Green Deal aims at increasing the sustainability of economic sectors to mitigate effects climate change. Complementing this initiative, Next Generation EU (NGEU) program, whose budget will exceed 800 billion € by 2026, is not merely a recovery plan but also catalyst for green technologies and sustainable activities. Within framework, Italy stands as largest beneficiary funds. present study explored distribution date 194.4 NGEU funds across Italian regions Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that have received most significant attention result funding. Leveraging multiple comprehensive datasets, including one encompassing more than 306,706 measures sub‐measures, analysis revealed 55.5 was directed towards Italy's “Green Revolution Ecological Transition,” with further 104.1 allocated (predominantly) SDGs 7 9. Purpose Sustainable development goals (SDGs) have been attracting ever considerable attention from practice and academia, but the relationship between board characteristics SDGs reporting remains unclear, especially in emerging countries. This paper empirically aims to impact of on reporting. Design/methodology/approach Based stakeholder-agency theory, this study used data 572 firm-year observations 2017 2023 top Malaysian-listed companies. ABSTRACT Universal health coverage, including financial risk protection, remains a critical challenge in low‐ and middle‐income countries like Bangladesh, where out‐of‐pocket (OOP) healthcare payments often lead to distress, especially climate‐vulnerable regions. Addressing this gap, the study examines determinants of catastrophic expenditure (CHE) its impact on poverty seven climatic zones Bangladesh. Using probit fixed‐effects regression models with longitudinal data from 75,840 households spanning 2000–2016, identified rising incidence CHE, particularly coastal regions, which resulted annual impoverishment 9% population (14.5 million individuals nationally). Key findings revealed that female‐headed households, larger family size, presence children, elderly individuals, reproductive women, chronic illness, lower economic status, rural areas exacerbated while higher education, earning capacity, access electricity, safe water, sanitation reduced occurrence. To support Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), SDG 1 (no poverty), 3 (good well‐being), 13 (climate action), policymakers development partners are urged promote prepayment systems, invest social protection programs, develop alternative financing mechanisms alleviate CHE implications, thereby advancing equitable sustainable development.

Abstract This paper empirically investigates the relationship between cooperative banking and local sustainable development through a panel analysis of 103 Italian provinces over period 2005–2021. Results show that credit banks exert positive impact on development, although this effect manifests heterogeneously across different dimensions characterize it. The also reveals heterogeneity in CCBs’ macro-regions, suggesting sociocultural institutional context might play crucial role shaping development. Abstract As local governments play a decisive role in attaining sustainable development goals, notably SDG 13 (climate action), decentralization policies offer the flexibility to modify climate strategies according necessities and enhance resource distribution. However, simultaneous demands for economic advancement environmental conservation pose notable hurdles. Drawing on county‐level time‐varying quasi‐natural experiment, results explore that fiscal decentralization, when implemented alone, significantly reduces firm pollution emission intensity. This reduction is attributed its alleviating stress counties. In contrast, administrative associated with increased emissions, driven by tax preferences competition infrastructure investment. Moreover, study reveals reforms are complementary their impact firm's intensity of emissions. Furthermore, joint implementation observed decrease emissions developed counties, particularly areas characterized high institutional quality improved mobility.
