Owing to their unique semi-hollow cavity structure, shell-like carbon superstructures hold excellent microwave absorption capability, in which the reflection loss can reach −49.14 dB and effective bandwidth 8.24 GHz.

The synthesis of materials with a multicomponent hierarchical structure is an essential strategy for achieving high-performance electromagnetic wave (EMW) absorption. However, conventional design strategies face challenges in terms the rational construction specific architecture. In this study, we employ combined space-restricted and to surface-plant MoS2 nanosheets on yolk–shell structural carbon-modified Co-based composites, leading development Co/NC@void@C@MoS2 absorbers advanced surface-planted nanosheets, Co/NC magnetic yolk, dielectric carbon shell work together enhance impedance matching characteristics synergistic loss capabilities composites. Experimental results indicate that Co/NC@void@C-700@MoS2 exhibited best absorption performance effective bandwidth 7.54 GHz (at 2.05 mm) minimum reflection −60.88 dB 1.85 mm). Furthermore, radar cross-section simulation demonstrate effectively suppresses scattering transmission EMWs perfect electric conductor substrates, implying its superior practical application value.
