Orally targeting nanostrategies of multiple nutraceuticals have attracted increasing attention in ulcerative colitis (UC) therapy for superior patient compliance, cost-effectiveness, and biocompatibility. However, the actual delivery bioefficacy are extremely restricted by their poor solubility, interior gastrointestinal retention, base permeability. Herein, we developed controllable colon-targeting nanoparticles (NPs) composed a quaternary ammonium chitosan (HTCC) shell succinic acid-modified γ-cyclodextrin (SACD) core precise UC treatment. Egg white-derived peptides (EWDP, typical food-derived peptides) could not only function as potential cross-linkers to induce differential coassembly with above biopolymers but also aid hydrophobic curcumin (Cur) solubility well nutrition enhancers oral synergism therapy. More specifically, NPs higher EWDP efficiency exhibited better pH-sensitive colloidal tunability (e.g., smaller size, rigidity, roughness) robust (EWDP/Cur) coloading capacity (24.0–33.2% ≫ 10%, pH 2.0–7.0). Compared pure nutraceuticals, excellent cellular absorption (almost 10 times) bioavailability (4.19–5.05 enhancement via faster mucus permeation macropinocytosis transport, indirectly regulating systemic inflammatory response. The sustainable sequential release targeted accumulation profiles directly facilitated interactions colonic microenvironment, verified intestinal barrier recovery gut microbiota restoration. During the application of Whey proteins (WPs), they often have complex interactions with saccharides (Ss), another important biopolymer in food substrate. The texture and sensory qualities foods containing WPs Ss are largely influenced by WPs-Ss. Moreover, combination is possible to produce many excellent functional properties including emulsifying thermal stability. However, between WPs-Ss susceptible some processing conditions. In addition, different interaction ways, can be applied fields. Therefore, non-covalent mechanisms firstly summarized detail, electrostatic interaction, hydrogen bond, hydrophobic van der Waals force. Furthermore, existence modes introduced, coacervates, soluble complexes, segregation, co-solubility. covalent applications formed Maillard reaction (dry or wet heat reaction) occasionally through enzyme induction. This study focused on developing an optimal formulation of liposomes loaded with bee venom (BV) and coated PEG (BV-Lipo-PEG). The were characterized using dynamic light scattering, transmission electron microscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. Among the liposomal formulations, F3 exhibited narrowest size distribution a low PDI value 193.72 ± 7.35, indicating minimal agglomeration-related issues more uniform distribution. BV-Lipo-PEG demonstrated remarkable stability over 3 months when stored at 4 °C. Furthermore, release drug from formulations was found to be pH-dependent. Moreover, favorable entrapment efficiencies, values reaching 96.74 1.49. anticancer potential nanocarriers evaluated through MTT assay, flow cytometry, cell cycle analysis, real-time experiments. functionalization system enhanced endocytosis.
